I’ve always loved music, I grew up in a home filled with it. My Dad played everything from The Beatles to R.E.M. and Kraftwerk and my Mum added Fiona Apple, Norah Jones, James Taylor, and Madonna. In elementary school, my teachers always said they could hear me before they could see me because I was always singing. My childhood babysitter gave me a CD of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Annie for Christmas and from that moment I was hooked on Musical Theatre. After much pleading, my parents enrolled me in my first class at Northwest Children’s Theatre in my hometown of Portland, Oregon when I was six. At the end of the performance, I had to be dragged off the stage by the teacher. I continued performing, as a member of the Young Professionals Company at Oregon Children’s Theatre and studied at Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre. In 2021, I moved across the country to study Musical Theatre at Manhattan School of Music. I’m extremely lucky to be a voice student of Bob Stillman. Outside of Musical Theatre, I’m an avid reader, croissant eater, and can frequently be found knitting on the 1 train.
